Man reports $91,240 in men's shoes, jewelry, electronics, clothing stolen in break-in - The Tand D.com

Calhoun County Sheriff 's Office A resident of Fringetree Road near St. Matthews reported Jan. 5 that someone broke into the house he shares with his parents and stole a vast quantity of men's shoes, jewelry, electronics and clothing. The estimated worth of the stolen items is $91,240, and an estimated $3,915 in damages result from the break-in, the report states. In other reports: A resident of Mack Hill Street near St. Matthews reported Jan. 4 that her silver 2005 Honda Accord, valued at $5,000, was stolen from Doodle Hill Road. She said the vehicle was being transported on a dolly when a tire went flat. After leaving the vehicle on Doodle Hill Road and returning two hours later with a new dolly, her car was gone, the woman said. The vehicle was later recovered on Hummingbird Road, according to the incident report. Grand Island’s Railside community recently added another business to complement its growing group of diverse downtown retailers. In November, A-List Fashion Boutique at 322 N. Pine St. opened its doors with a one-of-a-kind selection of boutique clothing, jewelry, shoes and handbags, along with kids and men’s apparel. Before opening her brick-and-mortar store, owner Amanda Hadenfeldt started the business as an online retailer. She started selling clothing and accessories via her Facebook page (http://bit.ly/2HwSYlt) with a Margarita Monday program at 8 p.m. On Fridays, she broadcasts a program called “Live at Lunch” which is on at noon and features new arrivals to her store. Tailored Brands Inc.'s shares TLRD, -17.78% slid 11% premarket Monday, after the company lowered its fourth-quarter guidance, saying same-store sales at its Jos. A. Bank mens clothing chain came in below expectations. The company, which also operates Men's Wearhouse, K&G and Moores, said it now expects Jos. A. Bank same-store sales to be flat, versus prior guidance of up in the low single digits. Same-store sales for November and December fell 1.4%, as sales at Jos. A. Bank fell 0.1% and sales at Men's Wearhouse fell 3.6%. The company expects its overall adjusted per-share loss to range from 29 cents to 34 cents, versus prior guidance of a loss of 24 cents to 29 cents. Full-year fiscal 2018 adj. EPS is expected to range from $2.25 to $2.30 compared with prior guidance of $2.30 to $2.35. Shares have fallen 33.9% in the last 12 months, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.53% has fallen 6.8%.
