A resident of Fringetree Road near St. Matthews reported Jan. 5 that someone broke into the house he shares with his parents and stole a vast quantity of men's shoes, jewelry, electronics and clothing.
The estimated worth of the stolen items is $91,240, and an estimated $3,915 in damages result from the break-in, the report states.
In other reports:
- A resident of Mack Hill Street near St. Matthews reported Jan. 4 that her silver 2005 Honda Accord, valued at $5,000, was stolen from Doodle Hill Road.
She said the vehicle was being transported on a dolly when a tire went flat. After leaving the vehicle on Doodle Hill Road and returning two hours later with a new dolly, her car was gone, the woman said.
The vehicle was later recovered on Hummingbird Road, according to the incident report.
- A resident of Old Number Six Highway near Elloree reported Jan. 10 that his black trailer with white rims was missing. The trailer is valued at $1,500.
- A resident of Old State Road near St. Matthews reported Jan. 14 that someone broke into her home and removed her 32-inch flatscreen TV valued at $400.
Footprints were found on the property, the report states.

A female resident of Mack Hill Street near St. Matthews reported Jan. 18 that when her son, who lives with her, returned home from Pete's Party Shop with his sister, an altercation broke out between the siblings.
The woman said a male resident of Mack Hill Street tried to intervene and was attacked by her son, the report states. She said she called police, and her son went after her when he was told to leave, according to the report.
When a police officer ordered the woman's son to leave the house, he refused. The man was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and battery. He was transported to the Orangeburg-Calhoun County Detention Center.
