The 27-year-old kept it political as she donned a brown wig, large dark-rimmed glasses, and clutched a purple binder with the words 'Green New Deal' emblazoned on the front, accompanied by a copy of 'The Communist Manifesto'. Lahren, a fierce critic of AOC, posted a selfie of her outfit to Instagram, pulling no punches in the caption in which she referred to Ocasio-Cortez as the 'Democratic Dimwit Darling'. 'This Halloween I decided to dress up as the thing that scares me most,' Lauren's post began. 'I'm not afraid of ghouls, ghosts, zombies or political incorrectness. I am far more terrified AOC was actually elected to the United States Congress. But Lahren has a well-documented history of publicly criticizing Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez. Earlier this year she sparked backlash when she claimed AOC, the youngest woman to ever be elected to Congress, was only successful on social media and not 'in real life'. 'There's a difference between being successful on Twitter and social media like Ocasio-Cortez and being relatable on social media platforms and actually being successful in real life,' the staunch Trump loyalist blasted on Fox and Friends back in January. Lahren has a well-documented history of publicly criticizing Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez. In addition to her criticism of AOC as a politician, Lahren has also remained consistently condemnatory of her policies, such as the fiercely divisive Green New Deal, which she said Democrats would use to 'fund their socialist utopia'. President Trump, another vocal critic of AOC, also blasted the proposal, calling it 'preposterous' and said in July that it would 'crush the dreams of the poorest Americans and disproportionately harm minority communities.'
