I'm a frequent traveler who's typically pretty chill about packing — I might start an hour before I plan to head to the airport and figure if I forget anything, I can just buy what I need at my destination. But last summer, when I was tasked with picking out what I'd wear for a whirlwind press trip to Southeast Asia (spending four nights in Phuket, Thailand, one night in Bangkok, and two nights near Ubud in Bali, Indonesia), I definitely felt more pressure to really get it right. There were seemingly endless plane rides ahead, some fancy dinners, and much exploring to be done, with little down time to pick up new outfits. As much as you tune into the runways for trends, it's always worth keeping an eye on the street style, too. Case in point: at Paris Fashion Week, the best celebrity outfits feature statement fur coats that are unapologetically luxurious. Unsurprisingly, Kim Kardashian happens to be leading the opulent trend, showcasing an incredibly impressive collection of fur outerwear over the past few days. The Skims mogul was photographed heading to Balenciaga's presentation in Paris on Sunday, March 3, while keeping herself warm in a floor-hitting leopard-printed coat.
