MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Local convenience store Weiler's is giving back this October. A long time supporter of Soup or Socks, Weiler's is helping support and promote the organization's Best Snow Day for children ages 3-12 years of age. "We are excited to launch this new project to help families in our community and surrounding area," said Cheryl Lewis Hartl, Director of SOS. "This will be modeled after the Best First Day that we do for school clothing in August." Donations of neutral-colored snow pants, snow boots, and winter pajamas sizes 3T-16 are needed. CLEVELAND — Bedrock, the company that owns Tower City, announced three new leases with Cleveland-owned businesses as part of its effort to revitalize the historic city and retail center. Jaxon's Closet, a boy's clothing store, MiAmour, a women's boutique, and Peach Fuzz, a Lakewood beauty and grooming service business, will all move into Tower City in the fall of 2021. All three businesses are owned by women and News 5 was able to confirm that at least two of the three women are women of color. Kevin Barry Peach Fuzz has a Lakewood location already. It's unclear what will happen to that spot when it opens a location in Tower City as well.
